Founder and Speaker
I am a Russian Jew and I was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russia.

I have been a St. Petersburg tour guide for over 15 years.

I am the founder and the owner of St.Petersburg Jewish Tours – a company which offers Jewish travelers from across the world a unique combination of general sightseeing in St.Petersburg and Moscow as well as Jewish Heritage, showcasing the best of Russia from a Jewish point of view.

I am now the founder of the Online Jewish Travel Club, which unites Jews from all different countries through our love of traveling and art, as well as our appreciation of Jewish Heritage.

I am 41 years of age, married, and I have one 5-year-old daughter.

Our family made Aliyah recently and currently live in Haifa, Israel.

Now when so many of us are locked in our homes or towns, it's time to travel online and enjoy all the benefits of seeing the best sights without any crowds getting in the way. It's time to invent something for ourselves, to discover hidden treasures and reveal the secrets behind the art.

A virtual tour prepared especially for you with detailed photographs, short videos, and an interesting commentary gives you a feeling of traveling as a VIP guest with the most famous sights open just for you, and your friends.

Whether we can physically travel or not we can still realize our dreams and visit places we have always wanted to visit, and see the best of them!
What exactly we are going to do:
  • Meet twice a month for 1-1.5 hour virtual tour
  • All tours will combine visual content carefully prepared for you in advance, with a live commentary
  • After the main part of the tour I will answer your questions – those asked in advance or written in the chat during the lecture
  • To begin with, I am offering a set of online virtual tours dedicated to the best sights of St. Petersburg, Moscow, Greater Russia and Jewish community.
  • Then we will cover other cities and countries as well
  • All our online tours will be organized via ZOOM
  • You will be given the lecture recording after it is finished to watch it at any time you like
  • I am also planning a very special meeting where you will be able to ask any questions you like about Russia, St. Petersburg, Russian Jewish history, Russian Jewish identity, my personal family life story, and the Russian Tsars, the Revolution, Russian politics and so on.

Here's what people say:
  • Dear Jane,
You did an amazingly good job yesterday!!! It was very very interesting, even after having been to the Hermitage on two different tours, once many years ago on a music trip, and then, of course, with your guiding with the JHS. Not only did you show us the beauty that is the Hermitage, you gave a very good insight in the process of restoration. As a volunteer at the Israel Museum I have had the privilege to attend lectures on the subject, and I have to compliment you on a job very well done!

  • Thank you for organizing this wonderful experience. Jane was fantastic and shared such specific and educational information for each piece of art which made it very meaningful for me. I very much look forward to further lectures with her. This virtual tour had that extraordinary visual benefit that no people were present to interrupt the beauty of each room we entered. It was fantastic.
