Jewish Artists Who Shook the World

They came for the Promised Land, but shaped a new Artistic Universe
Virtual Tour Details
Welcome to the two-part journey into the world of Jewish artists who changed the face of European Art forever!
Imagine young men and women mainly (but not only!) from small towns in Eastern Europe, arriving in the city with big dreams and little else. Paris was their Promised Land, a place where they could finally make their mark on the world.
In these sessions, we’ll dive into their stories — how they overcame obstacles, found their way into the heart of Paris’s vibrant art scene, and created groundbreaking masterpieces that still leave us in awe today.
Whether you’ve admired their art for years or are just discovering their work, I’m excited to take you through this fascinating and inspiring chapter of Modern Art History.

Part 1 Monday, January 27: From Nowhere to Paris: The Journey of Groundbreaking Artists

In the first part of our journey, we’ll meet these incredible young artists who left behind their humble beginnings and traveled to Paris in search of something more.
They were often poor, sometimes strange, but they all shared one thing: a burning passion for art. We’ll explore the lives of icons like Marc Chagall, Amedeo Modigliani, Chaïm Soutine, Moïse Kisling and others.
You’ll hear about the challenges they faced just getting to Paris, and how they slowly made a name for themselves in the exciting and ever-changing Art Universe.

Part 2 Wednesday, January 29: The Parisian Hive. Creating Art that Changed the World

In the second part, we’ll see what happened when these artists finally found their place in Paris.
The city became their creative playground, where they could experiment, break all the rules, and create the kind of art that would change the world forever.
We’ll take a closer look at the incredible works they produced, and talk about how their bold new ideas helped shape the future of modern art.
You’ll be amazed by how these young artists, with nothing but their vision and determination, completely transformed the art world.

Join me for these exciting sessions, where we’ll not only discover the fascinating stories of these artists but also explore how their work continues to inspire and impact the world today.
Don’t miss out on this inspiring journey into the heart of artistic revolution!
